Kedai Makanan Wan Fatt (万发海鲜饭店) is a popular restaurant in Bandar Kajang. For the locals who stayed around this area, they probably tasted or a regular of this restaurant. The location of this restaurant is at Lorong Mendaling next Tin Hong Si Temple in Bandar Kajang. 

Kedai Makanan Wan Fatt is open air concept restaurant and it is usually packed during dinner times. There are parking spaces in front of the temple or near the food court next to the Tenaga station. The restaurant is usually packed with customers so its better to go there early.

There offer many unique signature dishes that is worth trying. Some of the unique dishes we ordered include pumpkin pork, baked pork ribs BBQ sauce, two ways chicken and more.

We ordered sweet and sour pork as our boys loved it. You can see sweet and sour pork in most of our food reviews in our blog. Nothing extra ordinary with the sweet and sour pork except the generous amount of sauce which our boys enjoyed it.

This is their specialty, the pork ribs in golden pumpkin. This is a unique way of cooking the pork ribs, the ribs are tender in texture and coated with the creamy sweet pumpkin sauce. We enjoyed this and they also offer other golden pumpkin dishes such as golden pumpkin prawn.

This is another pork ribs dish they recommended, the Baked Pork Ribs BBQ Sauce. Pork ribs is baked to perfection, the ribs are soft in texture and immense with the strong and sweet BBQ sauce, the kids loved this.

This is their two way chicken cooking with crispy fried chicken and almond chicken. The crispy chicken comes with crispy outer layer with juicy meat comes with the mayonnaise sauce while the thin almond chicken is actually ‘yong chicken’ with crispy skin comes with the sweet plum sauce (if not mistaken). Two different style of fried chicken and both of them are tasty.

The food overall is good but prepare for the long wait due to the packed restaurant. The people here are friendly and the food prices here is above average if you compare to other restaurants in Kajang but it is cheaper than restaurants in Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya.
