Whether it is Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) or not, we love crabs. Let us share one of the newest crab specialty restaurants in KL. This is Kungfu Crab newly opened crab specialty restaurant in SS2 last month. The good news is they are having promotions and online delivery to KL.
Like many out there, we are still staying at home cooking our own meals and not going out to dine in. We choose to have food delivery as it is safer and easier to manage when you have kids at home.
It is pretty easy to order as you can check out their food at Facebook Page or Whatsapp them at 011-57630593 and they will let you know the delivery cost.
We ordered their signature ‘horny’ crabs with fried mantao, signature pork ribs, assam seafood pot and pumpkin homemade tofu for the kids.
Everything is packed nicely using plastic containers so there are no spills. The food is still warm when it delivered to our place.
This is their signature homemade tofu. Tofu is deep fried until the skin is crispy and then cooked with sweet pumpkin sauce. The flavour of the sauce comes with hints of sweetness of the pumpkin and the texture of the tofu is soft. The kids loved this.
This huge pork ribs comes with sweet sauce with hints of sour after taste. It comes with generous amount of the sweet sauce and the texture of the meat is tender and again our boys loved this.
First of all, you can choose up to three seafood in the pot with different types of sauces. We chose assam as we craved for assam. This assam seafood pot comes with three seafood and they are lala (clams), squid and prawns. It also comes with ‘petai’, the taste of their assam sauce is spot on and we highly recommend this.
Horny Crabs or better known as ‘hamsap crab’ is their signature crab sauce. The sauce is hybrid or mixture of salted egg and butter sauce so it creates the best of both worlds.
What we like about their horny crabs is the freshness of their crabs and also the addictive salted egg and butter sauce. The sauce is very tasty and addictive and it goes well with their fried mantao (Chinese bun).
Our regret is we should ordered more crabs as we are crab lovers. The crabs are fresh and their hamsap sauce is something we truly enjoy.
