For the past few months, our friends in Thailand have been busy traveling around the country promoting their local tourism. In fact, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in Bangkok messaged us to travel domestically as they thought that we are in Thailand at the moment. It is the return of domestic tourism and air travel in Thailand.
Our Thai blogger and influencer friends have been traveling non-stop in Thailand, discovering new places from Southern to Northern. We have friends in Phuket sponsoring bloggers, influencers and celebrities to Phuket and Khao Lak to promote the local tourism and local cruise experiences.
It is hard to tell you without a picture and this is the photo taken by our friend from Bangkok when she flew back to the capital city. Don Mueang Airport is packed with passengers, this is the common sight for pre-COVID 19.
The return of domestic air travel in Thailand starts in Q3 2020 and it looks very promising now. We must admit we felt envy when our neighbour countries like Thailand and Singapore starts travel bubbles with selected country while we are still fighting with CMCO (Conditional Movement Control Order).
For our friends and followers who asked us since March when Malaysians can cross the border to Thailand, there is no definite answer for now and it won’t be soon.
