Malaysia Border Pass Holders can enter Thailand land border without Thailand Pass

This is something new we got to know and time for sharing. As we know that Malaysians required to apply Thailand Pass to visit Thailand either by land border or by flight. Now, Malaysia Border Pass Holders can enter Thailand land border without Thailand Pass from 1 May 2022.

According to the PR Thai Government Facebook Page post, Malaysia Border Pass Holders do not have to register for Thailand Pass.

On top of that, they do not need proof of insurance but they must provide proof of complete vaccination at the border checkpoint.

Travel is permitted only in the area as stipulated by the agreements between the two countries and the period of stay of border pass must not exceed 3 days.
