Restoran Loong Hua Sekinchan

We visited the Restoran Loong Hua, a seafood restaurant on our first trip to Sekinchan. To be honest, we found this restaurant as it was recommended by some blogs on Google. The restaurant is located next to the river so you get the views of the fishing boats.

The single storey wooden restaurant offers parking spaces nearby. We went on weekday and hence there were no crowds compared to the weekends. Be smart, go on weekdays and skip the crowd.

Since we went there with our kids, we didn’t order much food. For lunch, we ordered fried squid, steamed prawns with eggs, kung po mantis prawn and Japanese tofu with minced meat on hot plate.

Fried Squids are not too bad. The squids are not overcooked, crispy outer layer and the kids loved it.

Steamed prawns with eggs is one of their popular dishes. The prawns are fresh, texture are right and the taste is not too bad.

Kung Po mantis prawn is something we craved. Mantis prawn is crispy while the taste is right but we wish they are more generous with the sauce.

Japanese tofu with minced meat on hot plate is for the kids. Complement well with rice and the kids loved this.

Visiting the restaurant on weekdays means lesser crowds. Service was not too bad while the food taste is just decent. Seafood are fresh and food pricing are still reasonable. If you have high expectation on food, this might not be the right restaurant for you.
