The Granite Luxury Hotel is formerly M Summit 191 Executive Hotel Suites are located at 191A, Jalan Magazine, George Town, 10300 George Town, Pulau Pinang. The location is ideal as it is just opposite Komtar in Georgetown. This means you can walk to many tourist attractions as well as popular food places.

The Granite Luxury Hotel comes with automated parking system. Since space is limited in George Town area, they use the automated parking system with three bays that can take up to over 100 cars at one time.

It will take a minute or two to park your car or to retrieve your car but it is efficient and convenient. Make sure you offload your things before parking your car.

The lobby is huge and we appreciate the welcome drink as well as the comfortable sofas. We went during Hari Raya and luckily, we manage to check in seamlessly.

For your information there is only one Safari Suite for family at The Granite Luxury Hotel Penang and hence the exclusivity on the pricing.

The Granite Luxury Hotel Penang Family Safari Suite can stay up to four person as it comes with two Queen Size bed.  We checked and they use Slumberland mattress for their bed and that is the reason why we had good sleeps here.

Lets’ talk about the Safari Suite and this suite is huge. You can watch the video for the entire tour as we are going to show the photos below.

They offer welcome gift and it consist of biscuit, local coffee, nutmeg syrup and welcome note. This is a common gesture if you stay in luxury hotels.

The room is like a playroom for kids. There is a huge tunneling system around the suite and there is a huge ball pit at the side of the room.

The tunnel connects to another small kid’s playroom (kitchen). All of these are interconnected but do remember, there are built for kids and hence there is a weight limit for it.

The balls pit are fun and they clear the balls for sanitization for every room usage. This means there will be a set now balls every time new guests check in. This is for hygiene and cleanliness as the Granite Luxury Hotel Penang Family Safari Suite is built for comfort and safety for the kids.

There is a little kitchen with basin and kids tableware. This is something the kids will love. The bathroom on the other hand comes with the basic toiletries.

It comes with a standing shower and no bathtub. This is probably due to the huge size of the room and left no space for the bathtub but remember, there is an infinity pool on the rooftop.

The infinity pool offers the bird’s eye view of Komtar and surrounding area.

The cool thing about this pool is it is the highest cantilevered arcylic bottom swimming pool as recorded by the Malaysia Book of Records.

They also offer fitness center / gym on the top floor, next to the swimming pool. We know it is hard to run around the city with so many motors and cars and that is the reason you might want to consider to use the fitness center / gym on the top floor.

It is not the largest fitness center but it is good enough for your normal cardio routine as well as some weight lifting exercise.

They do not have a dining restaurant but they do collaborate with a nearby café for ala-carte breakfast. The food is good and the coffee is awesome.
