Since we are not heading to Japan anytime soon, let us share some of the food we tried in the past. This is one of the random places we visited when we were traveling in Shinsaibashi Osaka. This is the Osaka Bakufu Shinsaibashi Ramen Shop.

Osaka Bakufu Shinsaibashi

The story goes like this. We were in Osaka for a family holiday and my parents are at Shinsaibashi. My parents are not a big fan of beef or sushi and hence we decided to find a ramen shop nearby. By luck, we found Osaka Bakufu Shinsaibashi Ramen Shop.

This is a typical roadside ramen shop where you eat by the ramen bar with other guests. We believe this is the best way to experience ramen like locals.

It was early winter and we queue up for the seats. Within minutes, we got our seats and thank god they have English Menu (due to the tourist area).

The owner is a friendly guy as he briefly explains what’s in the menu and what we like for ramen.

Their Osaka Bakufu Shinsaibashi Ramen Shop menu is simple as it offers pork soup ramen, chicken soup ramen or dry noodle ramen. We ordered the pork soup ramen and dry noodle ramen.

The Pork Soup Ramen is really tasty. The soup is well flavoured and this is really tummy warming during winter time. Love the ajitama egg, slices of roast pork, green onion and the springy ramen.

For the Dry Ramen, it is rather unique in terms of taste. If you are not into dry ramen, do order their soup based ramen.

We found this Osaka Bakufu Shinsaibashi Ramen Shop by luck and we enjoyed the food. Most of the ramen shops in Japan offers such high quality in terms of taste and they are probably better than most ramen restaurants in Malaysia.
