Almost everyone on our Facebook feed is posting about Tesla entry to the Malaysian market. Tesla will be introducing the basic Y model from RM 199k onwards with add on in the Malaysia market. The cool part is you only need to pay RM 1k deposit and car delivery is expected by 2024 which is months away.

We checked on Mudah.my, grey importers offers various Tesla models from RM 149k dropped from over RM 200k+ in Malaysia. They offered Tesla Model 3 Standard Range from RM 149k onwards while Tesla Model Y Long Range from RM 188k onwards (RM 246k by Tesla Malaysia).
We are not sure whether Tesla models bought from grey importers in Malaysia are allowed to service their cars with Tesla Malaysia service centers.
