Good news! Homi Curry Puff opens at Lower Ground IOI City Mall Putrajaya 2 (New Wing). Looks like, we don’t need to go to The Gardens or SS2 for this Homi Curry Puff.

We got to know Homi Curry Puff when they open their stall at The Gardens over two decades ago. We still remember they were selling at RM 2 per curry puff when they started (correct us if we are wrong).

Moving forward to 2023 and all the crazy inflation we experienced for the past two years, one piece of curry puff is RM 4.70. Yes, you read it right it is RM 4.70 for their signature chicken curry puff, sardine puff and non spicy chicken puff.

They are doing a promotion of Buy 5 Free 1 and this means you are paying around RM 23.50 for five pieces of curry puff to get the extra one free. Average it up, you are paying almost RM 4 for one piece of curry puff.

We understand the inflation but RM 4.70 for one piece of curry puff seems a bit overpriced but we bought two since we loved it too much.

The crust is crispy but it is hard too. The filling comes with potato, small piece of egg and chicken. The curry puff is over fried so the crust is too hard. Maybe it is a new outlet and they are not familiar with the cooking process or they changed the recipe.

If you are Homi Curry Puff lover like we do, they just opened an outlet at IOI City Mall Putrajaya. The big question is how many pieces of curry puff will you buy?
