Some memories should be remembered and some stories and pictures should be shared. Some stories could be old but it must be told. In this case is my experience at Ushuaia – Malvinas Argentinas International Airport.
Ushuaia – Malvinas Argentinas International Airport is located in Tierra del Feugo of Argentina. If you are good in geography, you know that Tierra del Fuego is the tip of South America and the closest to Antarctic.

How to travel to Antarctica within RM 50,000?
Three years ago I was US$ 5,500 short on board for the Antarctica cruise and I stayed in the southernmost city in the world for almost a week. I was in Argentina for 4 weeks and it was one of my greatest adventures of all time.
While listening on a local radioyesterday, there was a talk on how much does it cost for a trip of a lifetime to Antarctica. The answer was RM 150,000! I will not mention which travel agency or …

Arts and Cultural at Centro Cultural Recoleta
I stumbled upon Centro Cultural Recoleta after visiting Eva Peron’s tomb and Paseo Recoleta Weekend Market. The Centro Cultural Recoleta is an exhibition and cultural events centre located in the barrio of Recoleta, Buenos Aires Argentina.
In lay man terms, it is an art museum and it holds some of the interesting masterpieces of Argentina’s artists. I spent more than an hour venturing the area. Some of the work is speechless.
I have posted a few pictures here but if you want to see the …

Sea Lions and Imperial Comorants at De Los Lobos Island, Tierra del Fuego, ARGENTINA
It has been years since I’ve seen a sea lion. In fact, I forgot where was the last time I seen a sea lion. Not sure whether it was in Zoo Negara Malaysia or the Singapore Zoo. By the way those were “captive” sea lions, not the wild ones.
Last year, I had a month long trip to Argentina and I traveled to Ushuaia the southernmost city in the world. There, my friends and I took a boat …

Bed & Breakfast Lodging Manekineko at Buenos Aires
It took me more than a year to write about this place but it is never too late. I personally stayed there for a few days and a few of my friends actually stayed there for weeks in a few occasions.
I stayed in 2 places in Buenos Aires, the luxurious 5 star Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel and Manekineko. Manekineko means the Japanese “lucky charm” cat which brings good luck, business and good fortune. Most shops in Japan or even most Asian shops have …

Five Brothers Mountain Ushuaia ARGENTINA: Picture Of the Week
Last year while traveling in Argentina, I got the chance to visit the city of the “End of the World”. The reason it is called the end of the world because it is the southernmost city in the world. The city of over 100,000 is called Ushuaia. It is the closest city to Antarctica and dozens of Antarctica cruises will stop at Ushuaia before proceeds to the Antarctica peninsula via the Beagle Channel.
Behind this beautiful city, lies a very famous mountain among …

This was taken last year while traveling in Argentina for four weeks. We camped at Lake Alumine for a night and after departing from Lake Alumine, we headed to San Martin and later on to San Carlos Bariloche. You can check out the some of the pictures of San Carlos Bariloche HERE. On the way to San Martin, we stopped at the roadside for a break and I took this picture. Las Lengas Hotel Review Ushuaia Argentina
While traveling in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, we stayed at the posh Las Lengas Hotel. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the city and has one of the best sea views.
Sadly, we didn’t take much pictures of this hotel and the pictures quality was below our usual standard. We deeply regret with the pictures quality as it is not justified with the actual presentation of the hotel.
We didn’t stay long as the room was very expensive and we managed to …

Riding to the end of the world with the train of the prisoners (El Tren Fin del Mundo)
End of the world? Is there really such place existed? Isn’t it just a myth?
Well, it’s not myth. The “end of the world” is actually located at the southernmost city in the world; Ushuaia Argentina. Located at lowest tip in the world map above Antarctica, Ushuaia (Tierre del Feugo) has various names which include the “End of the World”.
In the past, Ushuaia has one of the most remote prisons in the world. Due …

Volcanic Ashes Experience in Los Antiguos Patagonia
After leaving Los Antiguos in Santa Cruz, Patagonia, we decided to take a short cut to Gregores near the Chilean border. We cruised to the unknown land and often the vehicles often stuck on the mud in foothill of the Andes.
Snow and mud, treacherous paths in Patagonia.
Even though it was summer, we experienced snowing and the unexpected weather in Patagonia Argentina. After driving through the treacherous mountain paths, we reached easier off road tracks.
