Adventure in Perlis Day Three with Santai Magazine

On our last day of the adventure, we were given another hectic yet fun schedule.  Our trip was made possible with Santai Travel Magazine and Tourism Malaysia Perlis. The first two days were fun and the third day was all about discovery.

Perlis Herbal Park (Rimba Herba Perlis)

Perlis Herbal Park (Rimba Herba Perlis)

With the blessing of having one of the oldest rainforest in the world, the state government built the Perlis Herbal Park to research and use the herbal plants.
perlis day 3-1
There are dozens of locally produced health products and the most enjoyable activity there was the herbal oil foot spa. It was only RM 10 for 15 or 20 minutes but it was my first time having such a foot bath. It was tank of herbs (coconut oil, cinnamomum iner, blumea balsamifera and ciliner rendle) and it was extremely hot. It was said it is good for health and why shouldn’t I believe that.
perlis day 3-2
After a sweating a couple of minutes of extremely sizzling hot foot bath, we took sampling a few types of tea, it was time to leave the herbal park to our next destination.

Nameless Honey Farm
perlis day 3-5

Nameless Honey Farm

I didn’t know how to describe this. Was it a bad marketing or stupidity? There was no signage and no brochure and no information on this honey farm. It took me hours to research about this place and I had no luck.
perlis day 3-6
We always support in local entrepreneurs by promoting our blog but this time around my hands were tied. I will drop Tourism Perlis an email for the information about this farm and probably edit this section.
perlis day 3-7
For now, you know that there is actually a honey farm producing local honey as well as medical healing using honey bees.

Taman Anggur Perlis
perlis day 3-9

Taman Anggur Perlis

I had visited many grape farms in Australia and this was my first in Malaysia. I believed now nothing is impossible and growing grapes in Malaysia I thought was an uphill task.
perlis day 3-10
It wasn’t a huge farm but it was fully equipped. They were planning to expand the farm after seeing success of producing quality grapes. They had the green and red grapes harvesting in the farm. The locally produced grapes were sold in the farm only.

The entrance fee is RM 3 for adults and RM 1 for children.

They separated sections by buildings and all of them are fully air conditioned. So far it was still well maintained and cleanliness was not an issue.
