How far will you go for brunch in Sydney? Well, on our recent trip to Sydney, we went to Parramatta to visit the Circa Espresso Café.
The café has been around for a few years and made its name as the Best Café in the Sydney Morning Herald’s ‘Good Food Guide’ in 2015 and since then they have attracted many coffee and brunch goers.
The restaurant is located near the southern side of Parramatta station and it is a terrace converted café. To be exact, they are located at 21 Wentworth St, Parramatta NSW 2150, Australia and there is a multi-storey carpack located nearby.
It is a hipster like café and we seated deep inside the café. The ambience was comfortable with low light. You feel like dining in a library with cozy leather seats and round shaped marble tables.
The service is fast and we didn’t order much since we had breakfast earlier on so we ordered a few cups of coffees and their signature French Toast. Coffee is good by the way and they also offer single origins coffee.
Their version French Toast comes with poached rhubard, fresh berries, strawberries, cinnamon, spiced honey syrup and crushed pistachios.
The photo didn’t do justice as it was really dark. With lights, the food here is very Instagrammable. We have no complains on their version of French Toast. It is definitely different than the usual French Toast but we love the strawberries and berries giving a fruity taste to the toast.
We didn’t regret our visit to Circa Espresso. Thus, we should order more food to taste and probably come again next time. However, we did feel that the food prices here is slightly expensive than the usual cafes in this area.
