Conrad Macao Hotel Review
Conrad Macao is a five star hotel in Macao located in the new Cotai Strip. It is one of the few hotels located in Cotai Strip together with Holiday Inn Cotai, Sheraton Hotel Cotai and the new St. Regis Hotel Macao.
The hotels in Cotai Strip are all about luxury, quality, comfort and experience. We reviewed Sheraton Cotai a few years ago and this time we decided to stay in Conrad Macao (and there will be a review on Holiday Inn Cotai too soon).
Macao is not about gaming anymore. We do not travel to Macao for gaming but for food, places of interest, culture as well as entertainment.
This time, we brought our parents for a holiday in Macau and they were impressed. To them, Macau has changed so much and this is their first time visiting and staying in Cotai Strip.
For Conrad Macao, the hotel offers an elegant and luxurious stay and experience. The first impression is how the doorman greeted us and taking care of our luggage as we arrived in the shuttle bus. Yes, there is dedicated shuttle bus to Cotai Sands Hotels from the airport and also the ferry terminal. The shuttle bus is free of charge.
The moment we stepped into the lobby, we can’t help snapping pictures of it. Even my parents can’t stop snapping pictures with their phone and iPad. The flower arrangement, the shiny ceiling and flooring, many guests and visitors stopped and took picture of the lobby.
It didn’t take long for them to check us in into our room. We booked the superior room with two beds. For those who are not familiar with five star hotels in Macao, the room is huge and superior rooms do comes with two large beds. Thus, the rates are cheaper than neighbour Hong Kong with the hotel of same class.
The elegant room comes with flat screen TV, iPod Dock and Nespresso Machines and WI-FI is available too.
The bathroom is posh with marble finishing, spacious and clean. All bathrooms come with bathtub and separate standing shower. The water heater is doing its work and we love the toilet amenities too.
Breakfast is served in a grand international restaurant called Grand Orbital in the same building. Like the hotel, the restaurant is classy and posh.
The food in this polished Chinese eatery didn’t disappoint us at all with good food and variety of food available. We are spoilt for choices.
On top of that, Conrad Macao also offers other amenities such as spa, sauna, fitness rooms as well as private cabanas next to four outdoor pools.
We stayed in Conrad Macao for two nights and we loved it. The beds are comfortable and we had really good sleep. You are just going to love the details of this hotel.
