Bandung is the capital of West Java Indonesia. It is popular for its volcanoes, tea plantations and shopping outlets. The beauty of Bandung is that it is cooling all year round as the city is 768m above sea level. There is an International Airport in Bandung or you can always take the train from Jakarta which is quite convenient. What do you do at the end of the tour or in the middle of your shopping spree? You need to pamper yourself with a quality spa. The good news is there is a new spa in town and it is Thai Odyssey. Yes, Thai Odyssey opens in Bandung and this is their second outlet in Indonesia.
Thai Odyssey started their legacy more than a decade ago from a dozen massage chairs to over 60 outlets in Malaysia and in other countries such as Thailand, China and Indonesia. Thai Odyssey is also a multiple award winning family spa over the years.
The Thai Odyssey Bandung outlet is their biggest so far and it is located at Jl. Sukajadi No.197, Cipedes, Sukajadi, Kota Bandung. The spa is around 10,000 square feet in size with a total of 12 therapy rooms. There are 5 Traditional Thai Massage therapy rooms, 6 Thai Aromatherapy Massage rooms and 1 VIP Room. There is also a dedicated space for Traditional Foot Massage therapy.
It is huge and it comes with its private parking spaces. There are ample parking spaces for you to park your car here or just hail a taxi, Grab or Gojek over here.
You will be greeted with a huge wooden door and once you enter the spa, you will be greeted by two front desk staff. The design and ambiance are inspired by the Thai architecture and design. Once you step in to Thai Odyssey, you will feel like stepping into a spa in Thailand.
The soft music, the warm ambience and the beautiful Thai inspired decorations is the signature selling point of all the Thai Odyssey outlets. In Thai Odyssey Bandung, they offer Thai Aromatherapy Massage, Traditional Thai Massage and Traditional Foot Massage.
Once you select your massage therapy, the therapist will escort you for the foot scrubbing session. There will be the spa attire for you to put on for your comfort. There are changing rooms or you can change in the therapy room.
You can keep your personal belongings in main lockers near the front desk or in the individual locker in the therapy room.

I did the foot massage after a day’s long shopping trail in shopping outlets in Bandung. It is the 60 minutes foot massage session by a local Indonesian therapist.
I changed to a pair of comfortable pants as I was wearing my jeans and I had a foot scrubbing session, locked my personal items in the locker before I rest on the comfortable massage chair for the foot massage therapy.
The air conditioner here is cooling, the soft soothing music, the chair is so comfortable and I was asleep during the therapy.
After the foot massage, I feel so light walking and I can do another couple of hours walking and shopping.
What I love about Thai Odyssey Bandung is that the outlet is very clean, the therapists are very professional and skilful, the price is reasonable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The overall experience is very good like the other Thai Odyssey outlets in Malaysia.
