Nana’s Green Tea Is Closing Down at The Gardens Shopping Mall
Four years ago, we were invited to taste Nana’s Green Tea by the owner. Nana’s Green Tea was recognized as the No. 1 brand among Japanese café and known as the “Japanese Starbucks” in Japan. There are two Nana’s Green Tea outlets in Malaysia and the other one is in Pavilion KL.
They posted the notice today on their official Facebook Page.
“LAST DAY FOR NGT GARDENS MALL
Thank you for your patronage over the years, our first outlet will be closed with effect from 1st August 2018.
Please continue to support us and enjoy your favourite matcha delicacies at our Pavilion KL outlet”
It is sad to know that Nana’s Green Tea Is Closing Down at The Gardens Shopping Mall. Today is their last day and left the Nana’s Green outlet in Pavilion KL. This is after four years of operations in Lower Ground, the Gardens Shopping Mall.
To be honest, their food quality is pretty good and prices are quite reasonable too. We loved their desserts especially their green tea desserts.
We know some of our friends are big fan of Nana’s Green Tea and it is really sad to see them closing down the Gardens Shopping Mall outlet. We usually spotted their outlet packed with customers.
It is challenging times for food and beverages industry now, competition is tough and the operating costs are high. Just last month, Harrods Café and Pablo Cheese Tart officially closed all their stores in Malaysia. There could be more coming in upcoming months. We shall wait and see.
