Planning to visit China anytime soon? Please do read this as there is China VISA Application New Procedure in Malaysia. Starting from 1st November 2019, Chinese Embassy in Malaysia added China VISA Application New Procedure to submit visa application. Now, you must make online appointment for submitting the visa application for China VISA application procedure.
There are a few ways of applying China VISA, you can walk into VISA Centre or you get the third party like travel agent to help you to apply. From our past experiences, you can obtain the China VISA within two weeks through travel agents or it can be faster if you walk into the VISA center.
With this China VISA Application new Procedure, you have to visit their website to book an appointment first as there is quota for walk in customers per day and you can do so at https://www.visaforchina.org/KUL_EN/howtogetavisa/quickaccess/index.shtml
We tried to book an appointment and the earliest date is mid next week so it is not that bad yet. However, we checked with travel agents, their appointment dates are full until December.
The Centre allots a certain number of appointments in each 30-minute timeslot. Upon arrival, either show a printout of the appointment information or e-mail or simply mention your name, and you will then be given a queue number on a first come-first served basis. This should guarantee a wait of only a few minutes. Please click here to make an appointment for your visit to the Centre. Visiting the Centre without an appointment may cause a longer waiting time.
You should make your application well in advance of the planned travel date. You are advised to apply ONE month in advance but no earlier than THREE months.
