Staying at Marina Bay Sands Complimentary Room

This is something interesting to share to our readers. I have stayed in Marina Bay Sands (MBS) for a couple of times as we were invited for their grand opening and also media visit many years later. Recently, we were staying at Marina Bay Sands Complimentary Room.

How did we get to stay at Marina Bay Sands Complimentary Room? This is not a media review but our friend is a Sands Rewards Club Gold Member. They offered our friend the Marina Bay Sands Complimentary Room for two nights and we just went there to check it out.

Please do take note that the Marina Bay Sands Complimentary Room is by invitation only and this was in June 2022. We are unsure how they pick the Sands Rewards Club Gold Member but if you spend enough at the MBS retail and casino, you might stand a chance back then.

The Marina Bay Sands Complimentary Room is located at the lower floors at the foyer. Well, we don’t mind as it is complimentary and breakfast are not included.

We check on Agoda.com and this is Deluxe Twin Room and cheapest per night is RM 2880 after tax in 2023. The room is similar to the room on higher floors and the main difference is the balcony view.

The bathroom comes only with standing shower without a bathtub. Don’t be surprised as only suites level and above offer bathtub in the bathroom.

For example, the Marina Bay Sands Strait Suites are priced at US$6000 per night and stayed by many popular Hollywood celebrities in the past.

The perks of staying at Marina Bay Sands is definitely the infinity pool access. Only hotel guests are allowed to access the infinity pool and you need to show your key card / scan to access.

The infinity pool area is private area and there are quite a number of life guards there. The only issue is you might not get the best seats nearest to the swimming pool.

The best time to get the best swimming bench is first thing in the morning before 7 am or during late afternoon (depending on your luck). Usually night time is packed until the pool is closed at 10 pm.
