Kuchai Lama’s Hidden Good Food @ Restoran 88

*NON-HALAL*

I wouldn’t been there if there’s no one brought me there. Thank you Cynthia for bringing us there!

After several turns from here and there, lies a restaurant out of no where with an open air car park (for directions check map, below). The place was packed! Even for a weekday! We sensed good foods.

lettuce

We started with lettuce with fermented beancurd. Lettuce was not overcooked, still maintain the freshness. I liked this.

mixed beancurd

Mixed beancurd came with a generous amount of paste. Not to mention the soft and smooth texture of the beancurd. This should goes very well together with rice. This was good.

port pork

Pork with portuguese sauce was next. Like the earlier 2 dishes, this was good as well. Pork meat was tender and it blended very well with creamy thick portuguese sauce.

The food there's good. You should try out their Hot Plate Seafood. It comes with either a combination of Squids and Prawns OR you can order just one item. Try it.

The price of food is reasonable, but the price of rice (RM1.50) and Chinese Tea (RM1) are a little above average, I suppose. :P

Just come back from dinner at this restaurant after reading the comment. Some food is good & cheap. We like the steam fish. Taste different from normal steam fish. Only cost RM26 for the fish. But the prawn is expensive, RM50+. If without the prawn, the bill only come to RM90 for 7 px. Worth eating!! Thanks for the recommendation.
