Ever tasted Sabah Pork Noodle? If you are curious how it tastes like, you should head on to 101 Sabah Pork Noodle in Taman Dahlia Cheras. You need a GPS coordinate to bring you here if you are not familiar with the places in Cheras. They are opposite the popular Hakka restaurant that offers stir fried assam laksa.
They have opened for more than a year and they are quite popular among the locals from the neighbourhood. For those who enjoys Sabah version of pork noodle, they don’t mind to come to 101 Sabah Pork Noodle.
What’s interesting here is their pork tendon noodles. This is not the usual pork noodle or the ‘san kan chong’ noodle we blogged recently in Cheras.
If you notice that the pork tendon is white in colour. We asked the owner and he told us that they took out the fat and marinated it with their own recipe until it is naturally white.
The taste is quite interesting as it is soft and yet tender. You get chewy texture from the tendon but the taste and texture is something we never encountered before. Thus, they are selling it under RM 10 even for a big bowl of pork tendon noodles, it is quite worth it.
We also ordered their Fried Salty Pork. It is marinated and deep fried upon order. Thus, it will take some time for them to deep fry so you have to wait for it. The pork texture is tender, well marinated and it complements well with the noodles or on its own. You don’t get the crunchy other layer but this is good nevertheless.
We are not sure why they call themselves 101 Sabah Pork Noodle but this is worth the visit. We have friends who visited this restaurant and they loved it. So the secret is out, this is where you can enjoy really good Sabah Pork Noodles in Klang Valley. Address and GPS coordinate is at below. Don’t say be bojio!
